10th National Symposium on Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, 2018
Afisari: 1770Dear Colleagues, Ladies and Gentlemen,
This year, the national Symposium of IBD celebrates ten years of its existence. From one year to the next one, the interest in this scientific manifestation has been growing, a fact evident in the large number of participants and in the quality of the delivered papers.
The Symposium of this year will be very interesting, highly scientific, combining – as we are already familiar with- opinions of experts with original papers of young residents and PhD students. The Congress will be preceded by the Franco- Romanian Course, developed under the coordination of Prof. Matthieu Allez, France. Together with the Romanian speakers, distinguished members of SNFGE (French Society of Gastroenterology) will participate in both conferences and interactive sessions, based on clinical cases.
The scientific sessions of the Symposium will focus on various aspects, from epidemiology to molecular mechanisms, from diagnosis and personalized approach to the most recent therapies in IBD. We are honored to welcome well known guests, with extraordinary experience in IBD, like Prof. Andreas Sturm, Germany. There are also sessions dedicated to nurses or to the organization of patients with IBD (ASPIR). Young people are encouraged to submit original papers, which will be selected for posters and oral presentations.
After the model of the „Journees Francophones” of Gastroenterology that takes place every year in Paris, we have chosen our location in Bucharest, the capital of the country, to facilitate access for our foreign guests and to attract a larger number of participants.
It is our wish for this year Symposium to be an open gate to knowledge, experience, cooperation, enthusiasm and friendship. This will be made possible by the active participation of all those interested in IBD.
Prof Dr Cristina Cijevschi – Prelipcean
President of RCCC ( Romanian Society of IBD)
