Avem la îndemână o alternativă plăcută pentru ochelarii de vedere: lentilele de contact. Un dezavantaj poate fi tocmai folosirea prelungită și necesitatea unei întrețineri foarte stricte pentru că, în decursul purtării, depunerile de pe lentile fac mai puțin plăcută experiența și în același timp cresc riscul apariției infecțiilor.
Fiecare variantă de lentile de contact, mai puțin cele zilnice, are nevoie de soluție de întreținere și de caseta specifică de păstrare, accesorii pe care trebuie să le aveți la voi atunci când le folosiți. Există soluții de întreținere de la 120 ml (ușor de transportat) până la 360 ml.
